Warming up your winter mornings with brunch in New York…

Eggs Benedict & a hot chocolate at this classic NY spot!

One of my favourite things to do on a brisk New York winter morning is to stroll through Central Park with my camera and then warm up my ice-cold fingers with a hot chocolate at Sarabeth’s on Central Park South. This classic New York spot is always busy – particularly for brunch. The trick is to walk past the crowds of people waiting for a table and perch at the bar where you can sit with a copy of the New York Times and chatter to the friendly bar staff or meet a friend or two for mimosas, the bar space will only sit four or five people comfortably so plan your girl’s bottomless bubbles brunch elsewhere! In summer month’s you can sit outside across from the park but you will have to wait for a table, although waiting for a table can be tedious it is sometimes part of the fun if you don’t mind the hustle and bustle. However TravelBella prefers to slip past the crowds and get a seat at the bar, usually with the Style section of the New York Times and her best girlfriend for a gossip on love, life and of course travel.
