Stroll like Jackie O around the Central Park Reservoir…

The Jackie O Reservoir in Central Park is named after the style icon who lived at 1040 5th Ave, overlooking the Metropolitan Museum of Art and located steps from Central Park. The former First Lady was renowned for her fitness and would take her morning jog around the Central Park Reservoir so it seems apt that they named it after one of it’s most famous regulars. The reservoir is around 1.5 miles from start to finish and an ideal spot for a jog or a stroll. Go at sunset to take in the striking golden reflections of the building of Central Park West shimmering in the still waters, or on a winter’s day when covered in a layer of crystal clear ice which makes for a stunning photo contrasting against a crystal clear blue sky. Pick up a coffee from Dean & Deluca on Madison & 86th St, just don’t forget your camera for the sunsets and city skyline images, don’t worry if you do forget as the memories will stay put for many years to come!
